Chef James Melnychuk

Chef James founded Rave Review Catering in 1994. His background includes various positions as a catering field chef, to sous chef and executive chef. He has trained with top professionals in the catering industry in Chicago and New York.

Working at his father's Bistro Grill on the Northside during high school, James continued honing his skills at Triton College, graduating with honors. He holds a degree in communications from De Paul University Chicago.

Along with his busy catering schedule, he shares his expertise as adjunct faculty at Dominican University, River Forest, Illinois and as Culinary Chef Instructor at the College of Lake County, Grayslake, Illinois. James enjoys teaching aspiring individuals in the culinary industry.
